I just wanted to give you an update on how my son's (Kyle) Cubmobile race went. He finished 2nd fastest out of about 40 kids and 15 cars. We used the 8" wheels and everything worked great. The car that beat us used the same 8" Comtech wheels.

My son won 1st in speed and got 3rd in looks despite the lack of paint (laughing!).
The Comtech wheels worked great. Out of 25 cubmobiles 2 had these wheels, ours with the 8" and the other fast one had the 10". After about 25 runs on rough surface, and one where it was pitched sideways at full speed with our biggest driver where I thought the tire would come off the rim they are pretty well scuffed but in good shape. We got more then our moneys worth from these wheels.
